Ambiguous figurines and statues that break the mold
The history of the Angeles Anglada brand begins in 1965. It was then that María Angeles Anglada – the future sculptor and designer – was born. The artist graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zaragoza and began her career in the late eighties in a small studio in Madrid. Her sculptures quickly gained popularity – thanks to the artist's unique perspective on art. Her small works predominantly feature themes of motherhood, human relationships, and friendship. A very characteristic motif is hands – they can be found in many projects, still available today.

How are Angeles Anglada sculptures made?
The author of each statue design is, of course, María Angeles Anglada herself. There are over 150 different designs available, each with a unique character. Based on these, precise casts of figurines and statues are made from high-quality powdered stone. However, this is just the beginning of the journey to create the final piece. The cast is further coated with high-quality metal – an expert hand-applies gold, silver, copper, or bronze. This is how a unique decoration that takes your breath away is created.
